Kunduz – Kunduz Municipality has announced that it will provide jobs for one thousand residents of the province with the help of international partners.
A statement issued by Kunduz Municipality on Friday (November 5th), saying the department had launched a program that would employ 1,000 people. According to the department, the program will help create jobs and alleviate poverty.
According to the department, the program will be implemented in four phases in Kunduz’s eight districts.
The hiring is being done in collaboration with district representatives. Furthermore, contract staff is expected to work to reorganize and clean up the city.
Earlier, the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) hired 100,000 workers for one year to clean up the city and protect the environment in Kunduz province.
