Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has condemned Iran’s attacks on Bahrain, Jordan, and Kuwait, including an attack on a Kuwaiti oil tanker transiting the Strait of Hormuz.
Al Jazeera reported on Tuesday night, July 21, that Doha described the attacks as a “clear violation” of the territorial integrity of the three countries.
According to the report, Qatar’s Foreign Ministry said Iran’s actions pose a serious threat to maritime security and global energy supplies and violate the principles of good neighborly relations.
Doha also called for the immediate and complete cessation of all military actions and attacks that threaten regional security and expressed support for any measures taken by Kuwait, Bahrain, and Jordan to protect their sovereignty.
