Saudi Has No Relation with the Taliban

8 Subh Kabul: Saudi Arabia’s foreign minister has told an Indian media outlet that his country has no relations with the new Taliban government in Afghanistan.

In an exclusive interview with India Today, Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan al-Saud said in an exclusive interview with India Today that resurgence of Al-Qaeda, ISIS, and the Taliban in Afghanistan is a concern.

The Saudi foreign minister added that his country would hesitate in recognizing the new regime in Afghanistan.

He noted that although the Taliban had said that Afghan territory was not being used against anyone, terrorism was a transnational concern.

Bin Farhan has stated that his country and India want an inclusive government, peace and stability in Afghanistan and they have reached an agreement with Indian Foreign Minister jay shanker.

Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al-Saud arrived in the Indian capital, New Delhi, on a three-day visit on Sunday evening.

The remarks came as Saudi Arabia was one of the three countries to recognize Taliban 1:0 in the 1990s.
