At least one person died due to the earthquake in Shingan village of Farkhar district, sources said talking to Hasht-e-Subh.

Local sources in Panjshir also say that two children and a woman were injured after the roof of a residential house collapsed due to this earthquake in Abdallah Khel valley of this province.

Zabihullah Mujahid, the spokesman for Taliban, has announced in a series of tweets that the health centers in all of Afghanistan are ready to receive the possible casualties of this earthquake.

The depth of the earthquake was 194 km and its center was fixed in Kolfagan district of Takhar province.
Previously, the intensity of this earthquake was reported as 7.7, but recently the German Seismological Center has announced its intensity as 6.8.
