Kabul – At least 11 people were killed and 23 others were injured due to floods and snowstorms across the country.
This statistic has been recorded across the country for the past three days after the floods, the Taliban-affiliated news agency Bakhtar reported on (Wednesday, January 5th).
These statistics are recorded in Helmand, Nimruz, Farah, Nangarhar, Badakhshan, Jowzjan, Takhar, Kandahar, and Kabul provinces.
Moreover, the Ministry of Disaster Management has also confirmed the published statistics of deaths due to floods in the country.
“The ministry staff rescued many people trapped during the floods with the help of the public, said officials in the ministry.
In recent days, many provinces in the country have witnessed floods that have caused financial and human losses to the people.
