Residents of Neighborhood 315, in the north of Kabul, Afghanistan, have confirmed a rocket attack on the Taliban’s Anjirak check post.
Residents of the neighborhood told Hasht-e Subh that after three rockets were fired at this outpost, assault rifle fires could be heard.
According to locals, explosions are heard every 5 to 10 minutes. The exact location of the explosions is not known yet.
Sources said the situation in Khair Khana area, part of District 11, in the north of Kabul has become critical, adding that no one can leave their house at the moment.
Neighborhood 315 is located in Khair Khana area where Taliban forces conducted a house-to-house search operations for the second time recently, as a result of which around 60 civilians have been arrested.
