The Afghanistan National Futsal team defeated Bahrain’s national team with a score of 3-2 in their third and final match of the Futsal Asian Cup (AFC) group stage, securing advancement to the knockout stage. The game occurred on Monday night, April 22, in Thailand.

Initially, Afghan players led with a 1-0 score in the first half, but later, Bahrain countered Javad Safari’s goal twice, leaving the first half with a score of 1-2 in Bahrain’s favor.

In the second half, Akbar Kazemi equalized the score to 2-2, and Mehran Gholami scored Afghanistan’s third goal, securing a three to two victory for the Afghanistan National Futsal team. With this win and considering the result of the simultaneous match between Iran and Kuwait, Afghanistan progresses to the knockout stage.
