Local sources in Samangan province have reported that a grenade explosion in this province has killed two Taliban fighters and injured two others.
The incident took place on Friday, inside the Taliban intelligence headquarters in the city of Aibak, the capital of Samangan province.
The cause of the grenade explosion is unknown, but sources in Samangan province claim that before the explosion, Taliban members had a verbal altercation with each other.
Health sources say that two of the injured were transferred to the Samangan provincial hospital yesterday.
Local Taliban officials have not commented on the incident.
Reports of internal conflicts among Taliban members in various provinces of Afghanistan have been reported before.
