Iranian media have reported the execution of a man accused of being a member of the Jaish al-Adl group and carrying out attacks against security forces.
The Tasnim news agency reported on Sunday, April 26, that the individual had been arrested in southeastern Iran.
According to the report, he was charged with “armed rebellion,” including involvement in bombings and ambushes against military forces.
The “Jaish al-Adl” group is a Sunni extremist group operating in the Sistan and Baluchestan region, one of the poorest areas in Iran.
The group occasionally carries out operations against Iranian security forces.
