The Taliban’s foreign ministry said on Tuesday (November 29th) that Muttaqi welcomed the Pakistani delegation led by Mrs. Khar, calling strengthened ties between the two countries beneficial to the region.
According to the announcement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Taliban, both sides discussed the release of Afghan prisoners in Pakistan, the facilitation of traffic between the two countries, the expansion of trade and the Taliban’s readiness to resume the work for the implementation of the TAPI, TAP and the Trans-Afghan railway projects.
The announcement added that the Pakistani delegation has promised to cooperate in solving the problems of Afghan immigrants, facilitating movement and addressing trade and transit issues.

By posting a picture of the moment when Muttaqi greeted Khar, many users criticized the anti-women actions and tendencies of the Taliban, saying that the Taliban “have problems only with Afghan women.”
After the Taliban takeover of Afghanistan, this is the first time that a senior female official from the Pakistani government visited Kabul to talk with members of the Taliban leadership.
