The Saudi-led coalition has announced that it successfully intercepted and destroyed two drones launched by the Houthis.
Al Jazeera reported early Saturday, Sept. 26, that the coalition spokesperson made the announcement.
According to the report, the Saudi-led coalition said the drones had been launched to target Riyadh, the Saudi capital.
Meanwhile, in recent days, Saudi Arabia has reported Houthi attacks targeting various parts of the country, including the religious cities of Mecca and Medina.
Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia in recent weeks have also disrupted the country’s oil exports and affected global markets.
