Kabul – The acting foreign minister of the Taliban has met with Chinese delegations led by the Foreign Ministry of the country in Doha. During the meeting, it was agreed to establish a joint mechanism for expanding diplomatic and trade relations in the future, according to the Foreign Ministry of the Taliban.
The Taliban Foreign Ministry spokesperson Abdul Qahar Balkhi tweeted on Tuesday, (October 26) that Amir Khan Mottaqi and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi also discussed the provision of educational opportunities for Afghan students in China during the meeting.
In addition, the Taliban delegation appreciated the Chinese humanitarian aids, and they demanded to solve the problems of businessmen in China.
Both sides have agreed to export a number of Afghan products to China, including medicinal plants, peanuts, pistachios, and other dried fruits.
Meanwhile, Chinese foreign minister Wang Yi has said in the meeting that its country would work based on the mutual interests of the two countries, and it would never interfere in the internal affairs of Afghanistan.
In the meantime, Amir Khan Muttaqi has ensured that he would not let countries use the soil of Afghanistan against China.
Last day, the Taliban delegation traveled to visit with the Chinese officials in Doha, the capital of Qatar.
So far, the delegations of both sides have met twice.
