Donald Trump, the president of the United States, has criticized Yemen’s Houthi group over its escalating attacks against Saudi Arabia.

Al Jazeera reported early Tuesday, October 13, that Trump described the Houthis’ conduct toward Saudi Arabia as very bad.

According to the report, Trump told reporters: “Well, the Houthis are behaving very badly. Not good at all.”

Trump made the remarks following a series of attacks targeting Saudi airports, including King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh and King Fahd International Airport in Dammam.

Trump had previously said that the United States would consider joining Saudi Arabia in military operations against the Houthis, but no decision has been announced.

However, the United States has so far refrained from directly entering the conflict with the Houthis amid its confrontation with Iran and the crisis in the Persian Gulf.
