Two men were killed in separate incidents in the provinces of Faryab and Jowzjan, according to local sources.
Sources informed the Hasht-e-Subh that on Monday, unidentified gunmen killed a man in the Faizabad district of Jawzjan province.
The victim was identified as Ehsanullah and was a resident of the Mardian-Bala village. Sources added that he was shot dead.
In another incident, unidentified gunmen killed a man in the Qaisar district of Faryab province.
The victim was identified as Mullah Gul Ahmad and was stabbed to death on Wednesday in the village of Burghan in the Qaisar district.
Local Taliban have not yet commented on these two incidents.
This comes after three people were killed on Saturday as a result of a conflict between members of two nomad families over grazing land in Faryab province. The incident took place in the Shur-Darya area of the Dowlat Abad district.
