Unidentified Man’s Mutilated Remains Found in Bamiyan
The mutilated remains of an unrecognizable man were found in central Afghanistan’s Bamiyan province.
Sources reported on Monday, February 13th that the body was discovered in the Dahan-e Kakrak area, located on the outskirts of Bamiyan’s capital city.
According to these sources, the body was then taken to the Bamiyan provincial hospital for further examinations.
A dependable but anonymous source at the hospital confirmed to Hasht-e Subh that, after their initial examinations, it seemed the body belonged to a man.
The source disclosed that the body was severely disfigured, and some body parts were missing.
Local Taliban officials in Bamiyan have not provided any comments on this issue as of yet.
It is worth noting that the frequency of targeted killings of former ANDSF members and critics of the Taliban administration by Taliban members has surged in the country in recent times.
