The Afghanistan United Front has claimed that it killed a member of the Taliban in Sar-e-Pol province.
The front wrote on X on Wednesday, September 2, that the Taliban member had been involved in suppressing, detaining, and torturing residents of Sar-e-Pol province.
According to the United Front’s claim, the Taliban fighter was killed on Tuesday evening in an operation by the front’s forces along a road in Kohistanat district of Sar-e-Pol province.
This comes as the United Front has also reported killing a Taliban official from the Ministry for the Propagation of Virtue and Prevention of Vice in Kabul.
Meanwhile, the front said on Tuesday that it had carried out 43 attacks against the Taliban over the past month.
