Sources in Ghazni report that construction of a community-funded healthcare center has been completed in Jaghatu district of the province.
The sources told the Hasht-e Subh Daily on Tuesday, October 13, that the facility was built in the Balasar Sarab area of Jaghatu district.
According to the sources, the project cost 2.5 million Afghanis, which was funded by local residents.
The center has 12 rooms and auxiliary facilities and was built on a 300-square-meter plot of land.
Local residents say they previously faced serious challenges due to the lack of a healthcare facility in the area. They had to travel dozens of kilometers to take patients to medical centers.
According to the sources, this is the third healthcare center built with community funding in Ghazni during the current solar month.
