Kabul – Mohammad Alam Izedyar, a former Deputy Speaker of the Senate, has made statements about the killings of Mohammad Fahim Dashty and General Abdul Wadud Zara in Panjshir province. He said in a voice message that the two activists of the National Resistance Front (NRF) in Panjshir had been shot to death by the Taliban forces.
According to the Izedyar’s voice message posted on social media today Sunday, saying that the car carrying Fahim Dashty, a spokesman for the (NRF), and General Wadud, the Front’s financial and administrative director, had not been attacked.
The vehicle carrying Dashty and General Wadud with their two bodyguards was stopped by the Taliban on the Dashtak-Tawakh route, and they were buried in a mass grave after being shot on the side of the road, according to Alam Izedyar.
“On the Dashtak-Tawakh route, the car carrying Fahim Dashty and his companions was confronted by Taliban militants, their car stopped, and were shot to death on the side of the road,” said Izedyar.
Fahim Dashty, one of the country’s journalists, had been appointed as spokesperson for (NRF) in Panjshir since the Taliban seized control of Afghanistan.
