Recep Tayyip Erdogan, President of Türkiye, has said that Israel has made every effort over the past 10 days to undermine a “hard-won consensus.”
According to Anadolu, on Wednesday, June 24, Erdogan accused Israel, in a post on X, of turning “terror and occupation” into state policy.
The Turkish president emphasized that Türkiye will continue to provide all possible support for efforts to achieve a lasting solution regarding Iran.
Israel is one of the strongest opponents of a US agreement with Iran, and its officials have repeatedly expressed this position.
Relations between Türkiye and Israel have been tense in recent years over various issues, including the Gaza war.
