
Explosion in Two Passenger Bus in Western Kabul; 10 people killed and 12 others Wounded
8 Subh; Kabul: In two separate and consecutive explosions in two passenger buses in Golayi Dawakhana road in District 3 of Kabul, 10 civilians were killed and 13 others were wounded.
Kabul police spokesperson Ferdous Faramarz told 8 Subh that two blasts were under investigation.
The two blasts occurred on Tuesday evening, June 1, an hour apart. The first blast occurred at 7:15 PM in the Sar Kariz area and the second explosion occurred around at 8.15 PM further away from the location of the first explosion in Almas Gharb Street in Golayi Dawakhana area.
Police announced that the two blasts targeted civilians riding in two passenger buses.
Number of casualties is expected to rise. In the past, passenger buses have been targeted in this area.
No individual or group has claimed responsibility for the blasts.
