The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced that it has carried out a new wave of drone attacks against U.S. bases and military facilities in Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and Bahrain.
Anadolu Agency reported on Thursday, March 26, that the operation was carried out in response to attacks on the city of Khorramshahr in southwestern Iran.
According to the report, the IRGC claimed that U.S. logistical facilities, fuel depots, drones, and satellite communication systems were targeted in the attacks.
In its statement, the IRGC said the operation was successful and that subsequent waves of attacks are continuing.
Tehran has previously targeted countries hosting U.S. and Israeli military equipment with drone and missile attacks, causing casualties, damage to infrastructure, and disruptions in global markets.
