Lebanese local sources have reported a massive explosion in the southern city of Khiam, allegedly caused by the Israeli military.
Al Jazeera reported on Sunday, September 13, that the powerful explosion resulted from an Israeli military operation in the area.
The explosion was reportedly so powerful that it shattered the windows of buildings in several nearby towns.
The incident comes as Israeli military operations continue across southern Lebanon despite a US-brokered ceasefire.
In recent days, Israel has carried out several airstrikes and ground operations, including around the strategic Ali al-Taher heights.
