Mehra Fabi, a prominent advocate for gender non-binary rights, has reported that the Swedish police have dismantled her protest tent. However, she remains resolute in her hunger strike.
On Saturday, September 16th, Fabi disclosed to Hasht-e Subh, “My health condition is deteriorating, but upon returning from the hospital, I discovered that my protest tent had been removed by the Swedish police.”
She explained that the Swedish police had informed her that having a tent in the city center was not permissible.
It’s important to note that Mehra Fabi is actively campaigning for the recognition of gender apartheid against women and gender non-binary individuals in Afghanistan.
Previously, Zaryab Pariani, a young Afghan woman residing in Germany, had also initiated a hunger strike.
