The Taliban has announced that more than 617,000 Afghan migrants returned to the country from Iran and Pakistan during the first six months of the current solar year.
Hamdullah Fitrat, the Taliban spokesperson, said on Wednesday, September 16, on X that nearly 180,000 of these migrants returned from Iran.
According to him, more than 437,000 others returned to Afghanistan from Pakistan.
Meanwhile, more than 1,000 Afghan migrants entered the country yesterday as well.
