Local sources in the Jaghori district of Ghazni province report that residents of the district are personally funding the construction of a high school building. Sources on Wednesday, April 17, state that this two-story building comprises 12 classrooms, laboratories, teachers’ and administrative offices, assembly halls, a study room, a library, and a volleyball field. According to the sources, the budget for this school is approximately $150,000 US dollars.
They anticipate completing the building within six months, with residents and refugees from the area residing in Australia covering the expenses. Residents of the Jaghori district in Ghazni province have previously financed several public utility projects.
In the past, they have constructed a school building at their own expense.
