Taliban: 678 Migrants Forcibly Returned to Afghanistan

The Taliban have announced that 163 families of migrants, comprising 678 people, were forcibly returned to Afghanistan yesterday.

Hamdullah Fitrat, the Taliban spokesperson, said in a statement on Saturday, October 10, that 37 families, comprising 169 people, entered the country through the Torkham border crossing in Nangarhar Province.

According to the statement, 99 families, comprising 384 people, returned to Afghanistan through the Silk Bridge crossing in Nimroz Province.

Additionally, 19 families entered Afghanistan through the Spin Boldak border crossing in Kandahar Province, while eight families, comprising 81 people, entered through the Islam Qala border crossing in Herat Province.
