The National Resistance Front of Afghanistan has announced that the Taliban’s deputy intelligence chief for Faizabad, the capital of Badakhshan, was killed in a targeted attack by the front.
The front said in a statement on Sunday, October 4, that its forces targeted the Taliban intelligence official at around 9:30 a.m. in the vicinity of the sixth district of Faizabad.
According to the statement, the Taliban’s deputy intelligence chief for Faizabad was killed along with two of his guards in the attack.
