Delia Ramirez, a member of the U.S. Congress, has condemned the expansion of Israeli settlements in the West Bank, saying that Palestine belongs to the Palestinians.
Ramirez wrote on her X account early Saturday, September 19, that Americans should call for an end to Israeli settlement construction in the West Bank.
The U.S. congresswoman called on Congress to use its power to end military support for Israel.
This comes two days after a U.S. senator also strongly criticized the nearly $3 billion U.S. military aid package for Israel.
However, despite international condemnation, Israel has continued building Jewish settlements in the West Bank and has not backed down.
