Local sources have reported a tragic incident in Kabul where Taliban fighters shot dead four youths, according to sources speaking to Hasht-e Subh Daily. The incident occurred on Wednesday, October 25th, in the Darulaman area of Kabul city.
Witnesses confirm that a verbal altercation at a Taliban checkpoint escalated, leading to the tragic deaths of four individuals. The victims, who were residents of Panjshir province and residing in Kabul city, were riding in a vehicle with seven youths attempting to pass through the Taliban checkpoint. Harsh treatment was initially meted out to the group, culminating in the fatal shooting of four of them by Taliban fighters. Additionally, three other youths were detained by the Taliban and have been moved to an undisclosed location.
The Taliban have not issued any statements regarding this incident. Notably, this tragedy follows a similar incident just eleven days ago in the Qala-e Fathullah area of Kabul city, where a young man named Abdul Aziz, a resident of the Frobal district in central Panjshir province, was shot at a Taliban checkpoint.
