The Afghanistan Freedom Front has claimed that three Taliban fighters were killed in a military operation in Nangarhar Province.
The front announced on Thursday, June 25, in a press release that the attack was carried out on the Jalalabad–Kunar highway and targeted a Taliban checkpoint in the Shewa district.
According to the press release, the operation took place at approximately 12:25 AM on Wednesday, June 24.
The Afghanistan Freedom Front claimed that as a result of the attack, three Taliban fighters were killed and two others were seriously wounded.
The press release also stated that the front’s recent attacks against Taliban fighters in the country’s eastern provinces have been on the rise.
