Commercial flights at Imam Khomeini International Airport (IKIA) have resumed for the first time since the start of the war with the United States and Israel.
Iran’s state television reported on Saturday, April 25, that the airport is now operating flights to Istanbul in Turkey, Muscat, the capital of Oman, and Medina in Saudi Arabia.
The flight-tracking platform Flightradar24 showed that at least three flights bound for Istanbul took place on Saturday morning.
Following the US and Israeli attacks on Iran, all domestic and international flights had been suspended.
