The Freedom Front of Afghanistan has claimed that five Taliban members were killed after the group attacked a vehicle carrying Taliban members in Kiran wa Manjan district of Badakhshan province.
The front said in a statement on Thursday, October 8, that the incident occurred on Tuesday evening.
The group added that a Taliban commander and four of his guards were killed in the incident.
According to the Freedom Front, the vehicle carrying the men was targeted while traveling from Kiran wa Manjan toward Panjshir.
The front also claimed that the Taliban are asking people to increase propaganda against groups opposed to them.
