The Syrian Presidential Office has said that French President Emmanuel Macron will visit Syria.
Reuters reported on Sunday, July 5, that the Syrian Presidential Office made the announcement.
According to the report, Macron will travel to Syria to discuss ways to strengthen bilateral relations and address issues of mutual interest.
The report adds that Macron will also hold a roundtable meeting with Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa and Syrian delegations, accompanied by a delegation of investors and representatives of French companies.
However, the Syrian Presidential Office did not specify an exact date for the visit.
