Fuel prices, including gasoline, have risen sharply in Kabul in recent days, raising concerns among residents of the Afghan capital.
On Sunday, June 28, the price of one liter of gasoline increased from 66 afghanis to 75 afghanis, significantly raising transportation and daily living costs.
The increase is said to have placed additional economic pressure on households, drivers, and business owners.
The rise in fuel prices comes at a time when fuel costs have declined in many countries alongside lower global oil prices.
Residents of Kabul have expressed concern over the continued increase in fuel prices and have called on Taliban authorities to clarify the reasons behind the rise and take measures to control prices.
