Badghis: The Taliban Ministry of Public Health says a health centre in the Ghormach district of Badghis province has received 46 items of medical equipment worth $111,000.
The ministry said in a statement on Saturday, September 26, that the equipment was handed over to the health centre with financial support from the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).
According to the statement, another package of medical equipment will also be delivered to the health centre in the near future.
Ghormach district is one of the districts of Badghis province in northwestern Afghanistan, where residents face restrictions in accessing healthcare services.
Health centres in the province need more equipment and facilities to provide medical services.
