Hamid Karzai, former President of Afghanistan, in a letter to António Guterres, Secretary-General of the United Nations, has called for the condemnation of Pakistan’s attacks on Afghanistan.
On Tuesday, April 7, Karzai stated in a message that Pakistan’s attacks have caused civilian casualties and damaged public infrastructure.
The former president emphasized that the UN must condemn these attacks by Pakistan.
Karzai added: “Pakistan’s policy over more than four decades has been to use militancy and extremism as a tool for regional influence.”
He urged the United Nations to take measures to stop Pakistan’s attacks.
It is reported that delegations from Pakistan and the Taliban are holding talks in China to reduce tensions.
The Taliban have announced that more than 700 civilians have been killed since the beginning of Pakistan’s attacks on Afghanistan.
