Local sources in Badakhshan province say one person was killed after a vehicle from a convoy of Russian tourists collided with a motorcycle in the province.
Sources told the Hasht-e Subh Daily on Thursday, Sept. 24, that the incident occurred along the Kashm–Faizabad highway.
According to the sources, one of the vehicles in the Russian tourists’ convoy collided with a motorcycle, killing the motorcycle rider.
Sources added that the Taliban have detained four foreign tourists, including a woman, and two interpreters in connection with the incident.
No further details have been released about the condition of those detained.
