Hasht-e Subh Hasht-e Subh
10 November 2022 - Solar Hijri Date: 1401/08/19 [t_time:1668070000]

Following the continuation of Iranian protests over the mandatory hijab, sources report the missing of an Afghan female student at Allameh Tabatabai University (ATU) in the country.

This Afghan student’s name is Sahra Rezai and is a journalism student at this university in Iran, according to sources.

Based on the reports, Sahra disappeared after the arrest of protesting students by Iranian military forces.

According to sources, she disappeared 25 days ago after contacting her family and is probably in the custody of Iran’s security agencies.

Sources added that she is suffering from heart disease and this has raised concerns about her physical health.

The Iranian military forces have made widespread arrests among students in order to quell the protests in this country.
