Maria Zakharova, spokesperson for Russia’s Foreign Ministry, has said that European factories producing weapons for Ukraine could be considered potential military targets for Russia.
TASS reported early Thursday, October 1, that the spokesperson made the remarks during a press briefing in Moscow.
According to the report, Zakharova described European factories producing ammunition and weapons as “potential” military targets.
She warned: “No one should think that military factories located outside Ukrainian territory that produce weapons for the Kyiv regime will be safe. Anyone who thinks so is mistaken.”
This comes as European countries that are members of NATO and the European Union are among Ukraine’s main supporters in its war against Russia.
