Taliban: More Than 100 Afghan Migrant Families Return to the Country

The Taliban have announced that 104 families, comprising 448 people, were forcibly returned to Afghanistan the previous day.

Hamdullah Fitrat, the Taliban’s deputy spokesperson, said in a statement on Sunday, October 11, that 28 families, comprising 138 people, entered the country through the Torkham crossing in Nangarhar province.

According to the statement, 11 families, comprising 51 people, entered Afghanistan through the Spin Boldak crossing in Kandahar province.

Fitrat added that 56 families, comprising 225 people, returned through the Pul-e Abrisham crossing in Nimroz province, while nine families, comprising 34 people, entered Afghanistan through the Islam Qala crossing in Herat province.
