U.S. President Donald Trump has claimed that the United States will achieve a “very decisive” victory in the war with Iran.
Al Jazeera reported early Saturday, September 19, that Trump made the remarks while speaking to reporters at the White House.
According to the report, Trump said the United States is “very decisively” winning the war and that it will end soon.
Trump also claimed that oil prices will return to pre-war levels once the war with Iran ends.
He described the current increase in fuel prices as a price worth paying to prevent Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons.
Trump has repeatedly spoken of the complete destruction of Iran, victory in the war against the country, and preventing Tehran from obtaining nuclear weapons.
