Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, has met with Hakan Fidan, Turkey’s foreign minister, to discuss ongoing efforts to promote stability and peace in the region.
The UAE’s official news agency, WAM, reported on Monday night, September 28, that the two sides discussed regional and international issues during the meeting.
According to the report, the UAE president and the Turkish foreign minister discussed a number of regional and international issues of mutual interest, focusing on developments in the Middle East and ongoing efforts to promote security, stability, and lasting peace across the region.
This comes as efforts to resolve tensions and the crisis between Iran and the United States have recently intensified, with talks between the two sides expected to begin.
However, it remains unclear whether such efforts will lead to an agreement between the two sides or whether tensions will continue.
