The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) has stated that the rights of refugees are human rights and that the rights of every human being must be protected.
The organization wrote on its X page on Friday, September 4, that no one chooses to become a refugee, but people can choose empathy and solidarity.
The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees has emphasized the need to protect rights that belong to every human being, including the rights of refugees.
The remarks come as a large number of refugees, including citizens of Afghanistan, are facing numerous challenges, such as forced deportations.
The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees had previously announced that six million people had returned to Afghanistan in less than three years.
The organization also said that the return of citizens of Afghanistan on such a scale was unprecedented in recent history.
