The Afghanistan United Front has claimed that it killed a Taliban fighter in Helmand province.

The front said on X early Sunday, October 4, that its forces had carried out an operation against the Taliban in Helmand.

According to the United Front, the Taliban member was killed in the vicinity of Lashkar Gah, the provincial capital of Helmand.

This comes a day after the United Front also claimed to have killed a Taliban fighter in Kandahar.

Meanwhile, attacks by anti-Taliban fronts against the group have increased in different parts of the country in recent months.
