The Afghanistan Freedom Front has expressed its condolences to the family of Hasib Panjshiri, a commander of the National Resistance Front, the leadership of the front, and the people of Afghanistan, and paid tribute to his five years of struggle.

The front said in a statement issued on Thursday evening, August 20, that Hasib Panjshiri had fought alongside members of the National Resistance Front against the Taliban in recent years.

The Afghanistan Freedom Front added that the killing of Hasib Panjshiri is a loss for his comrades and members of the National Resistance Front.

The front said his death would not weaken its members’ determination to continue their struggle against the Taliban.

The statement said Hasib Panjshiri’s name would remain among those who have been killed in clashes in recent years.

The Afghanistan Freedom Front also called on the people to maintain their solidarity and unity under the current circumstances and not be influenced by the Taliban’s “propaganda and psychological campaigns.”
