The Afghanistan United Front has claimed that it killed a member of the Taliban in Kandahar province.
The group said on Sunday night, September 27, on its X account that the Taliban member was killed the previous day during an operation carried out by its forces.
According to the Afghanistan United Front, the Taliban member was killed in the Band-e Dahla area of Shah Wali Kot district in Kandahar province.
This comes as attacks by anti-Taliban groups have increased in recent days in eastern parts of the country, including Nuristan province.
However, until several months ago, the Taliban had denied any military activity against the group inside Afghanistan.
