IOM

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) has announced that it has assisted more than 110,000 undocumented migrants who returned from Pakistan to Afghanistan between January and October 2026.

The organization said in a post on its X account on Monday, November 2, that the assistance was provided with support from the European Union (EU).

According to the organization, EU and IOM representatives visited service centres in Kandahar last week.

During the visit, they met with migrants who had returned from Pakistan and were receiving healthcare, protection and other essential services.

The IOM added that EU support had made it possible to provide these forms of assistance to returning migrants.
