Eight people, including a woman and four children, have been killed in a traffic accident in Ghazni city.
The Taliban’s police command in Ghazni said on Wednesday, November 4, that the accident occurred when a cargo truck collided with a passenger vehicle.
The Taliban added that the accident took place in the Rawza Kotol area, within the jurisdiction of the city’s First Security District.
Traffic accidents claim the lives of dozens of people in Afghanistan every year.
Driver negligence, excessive speed, poor road conditions, and failure to observe traffic regulations are considered among the main causes of these accidents.
