A school shooting by a teenager in the US state of Oregon has left at least four people dead, including three children and a teacher.
The Associated Press reported early Saturday, October 17, that the teenage shooter was also killed by an armed father of one of the students.
According to the report, local police said the attacker had fired about 15 rounds from a shotgun and was carrying approximately 44 additional rounds of ammunition when he was killed.
Meanwhile, investigators are trying to determine how the teenager obtained the firearm.
However, a law enforcement official briefed on the details of the shooting said the weapon had been purchased by the teenager’s mother.
