Russian President Vladimir Putin has called for widespread attacks on Ukraine’s logistics hubs during a visit to a Russian military command center.
TASS reported on Friday night, October 16, that Putin, referring to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine as a “special military operation,” called for the destruction of Ukrainian logistics hubs and defense facilities.
According to the report, Putin said expanding attacks on Ukrainian facilities was necessary.
“Of course, it is necessary to continue launching widespread, coordinated attacks against the enemy’s defense facilities and logistics hubs,” he said.
This comes after US President Donald Trump recently reached an agreement with Putin on diesel exports and called for an energy ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine.
However, Moscow has continued its attacks on Ukrainian infrastructure with intensity despite Trump’s call.
